The methods they advocate include widespread abuse of the system - abuse which would allow any group with support among some officials at various levels of government, and foreign governments, to persecute and harrass anyone in what can only be described as a fascist manner. Ironically, they claim to advocate the “rule of law.’ This is the “tyranny by law,” and would set a democracy-destroying precedent.
The proposals include:
Impeachment of Bush and Cheney. If necessary, after they leave office!
Impeachment of a federal judge for writing a memo that enabled “torture”
Local, State, and federal prosecutions such as the Brattleboro, Vermont, ordinance that calls for the arrest on sight of Bush and/or Cheney…
Charge Bush and Cheney with murder of U.S. soldiers who have died in the Iraq and Afghanistan war under state law.
Use of common law courts … as a means to turn “revisionist international law theory” by asserting international humanitarian and human rights law violations as common law in state courts prosecutions.
Having citizens file charges with the police in various countries
Foreign and International Prosecution
Complaints to licensing boards for professionals who assisted the government

Woody is a plagiarist !!!! Obama already used the line about President Bush driving the country towards a cliff and McCain wanting to take over the wheel/course.

Liberals recently bombarded us with bad things that they read about Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber. Among the claims they had, on authority, were that Gov. Palin thought that Africa was a country and that Joe the Plumber was a relative of Charles Keating. Ha ha!...and Dan Quayle can't spell potato. Oh, they are soooo brilliant! Well, I'm here on better authority to tell them that they were duped, which is not hard to believe since Obama duped them, too.
It was among the juicier post-election recriminations: Fox News Channel quoted an unnamed McCain campaign figure as saying that Sarah Palin did not know that Africa was a continent.
Who would say such a thing? On Monday the answer popped up on a blog and popped out of the mouth of David Shuster, an MSNBC anchor. “Turns out it was Martin Eisenstadt, a McCain policy adviser, who has come forward today to identify himself as the source of the leaks,” Mr. Shuster said.
Trouble is, Martin Eisenstadt doesn’t exist. His blog does, but it’s a put-on. The think tank where he is a senior fellow — the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy — is just a Web site. The TV clips of him on YouTube are fakes.
And the claim of credit for the Africa anecdote is just the latest ruse by Eisenstadt, who turns out to be a very elaborate hoax that has been going on for months. MSNBC, which quickly corrected the mistake, has plenty of company in being taken in by an Eisenstadt hoax, including The New Republic and The Los Angeles Times.
Now a pair of obscure filmmakers say they created Martin Eisenstadt to help them pitch a TV show based on the character.
The pranksters behind Eisenstadt acknowledge that he was not, through them, the anonymous source of the Palin leak to falsely claim that he was the leaker....
Mr. Gorlin and Mr. Mirvish say the blame lies not with them but with shoddiness in the traditional news media and especially the blogosphere.
In July, after the McCain campaign compared Senator Barack Obama to Paris Hilton, the Eisenstadt blog said “the phone was burning off the hook” at McCain headquarters, with angry calls from Ms. Hilton’s grandfather and others. A Los Angeles Times political blog, among others, retold the story, citing Eisenstadt by name and linking to his blog.
Last month Eisenstadt blogged that Samuel J. Wurzelbacher, Joe the Plumber, was closely related to Charles Keating, the disgraced former savings and loan chief. It wasn’t true, but other bloggers ran with it.
These liberals remind me of the smart alec kids in grammar school who waved their hands wildly to have the teacher choose them for the answer to a problem (Ooh, ooh, Teacher, pick me, pick me!)--and, then, get it wrong. It's still funny.

The New York Post reports that George Clooney, Bono, Wyclef Jean, Petra Nemcova and a half-dozen other celebrities have founded charities that have some eyebrow-raising business practices.
Jean's charity to help Haitians has allegedly failed to file tax returns for eight years. Bono's mega-foundation is reported to have chartered a plane to Africa and bought tickets for a U2 concert. Poker lover George Clooney allegedly took donations from a dubious online card-games company. And Giant Super Bowl hero Osi Umenyiora is reported to have dropped the ball when it comes to even registering his charity to benefit Africa and research into Alzheimer's disease.
Below are the 10 celebrity charities that raised red flags, according to a Post examination of federal tax forms and other records, and the alleged shorcomings: (Link to article).
Sure, the money is wasted on questionable causes, but liberal donors "feel good," and that's what matters.
On the other hand, they want us to "feel patriotic" by paying higher taxes. Is there a way that I can feel patriotic with their money, or does it not work that way?
As Obama forms his "ruling" team and prepares to take office, the people who supported Obama want to help him set priorities. From one site accepting votes on this comes the below ranking, as of this writing.
Do you remember the big deal about having universal health care? Pretty important, huh? Well, look at what they ranked in importance right above that.
In President Obama’s first 100 days, he needs to:
Invest in clean energy and create 5 million new green jobs
Responsible, Phased Withdrawal of Troops in Iraq (16 months)
Kill the PATRIOT Act
Prosecute criminals in Bush administration
Enact quality, affordable health care for all
Shut down Guantanamo
Restore, Uphold, and Defend the Constitution
Raise Minimum Wage to a Living Wage
End corporate welfare
Stop domestic surveillance
It's amazing how much energy leftists spend in hating Bush, even to the point of ranking his prosecution above life itself.
If you have the stomach for it, you can read the rest of their priorities at the site, too. Pick out your favorite. Mine is "Eliminate the IRS!" I can always find other work. At least it would keep Obama from raising taxes.
What would you want Obama to do--besides quit?
[Update] - Yep. The Democrats got their marching orders from the left and are moving ahead on a high priority issue. They're going to live in a hate-filled past forever, which is not change but what we've come to expect from them.

You got to give it to them libtards, they are like the energizer bunny when it comes to spewing hate and blame. I don't exactly like Bush myself, but criminal prosecution on the brain in regard to an elected president is really over the top. Clinton lied (purgered himself in Federal Court!) and was never prosecuted. What ever happened to "talking substance and issues"???

The Democrats scared kids in past elections by claiming that Republicans would draft them into serving our nation. How times have changed. Now, the Democrats want to draft kids into "civil defense service" or "community service" (a racist code word, btw) -- and compensation may not be part of the formula. We're already seeing forced volunteerism in colleges under the name of "service learning."
How would you or your kids like to be forced into an involutary national or community service plan--one set up by Obama? Maybe you would even get to "donate" your time to ACORN! It's wrong, in my eyes, even if there is compensaton. Well, Obama is pushing it, although specifics are disappearing from his website as we read. Here's some insight from an interview with Obama chief of staff Emanuel.
SMITH: I meant to ask you about the universal service piece of the plan. Can you tell me about it how is this going to work? Are people going to live in barracks?
EMANUEL: Universal Civil Defense Training…I think he had it at 18, but we thiinking somewhere between the ages of 18 and 25, you will do three months of training. You can do it in your(inaudible). Some point in college you can do just that. There can be nothing wrong with all Americans having a joint similar experience.
I mentioned this a few days ago on a blog where I quit commenting a couple of years ago and pretend to not comment there now, because G.M. is supposed to shoot me if I do. Here's the exchange, as it might have happened, had I really done it.

The irony here is that compared to Marc's blog, where some of the most recent discussions have turned into vigorous debates, this place looks like a bunch of back slapping, conformists grumps occasionally raging against self created "enemies". For all of GM's groping about people at Coopers being all in agreement, i dare him to find a debate as rigorous here as say the one that happened between me, reg, anna and pt. Coopers blog is far more diverse and has way less agreement than this highly partisan and back slappping joint. GIven Ropers embarrasingly silly and immature posts at the end of the campaign, which were spread over at Coopers, i can understand why GM is embarssed to show up there.

The Arab daily Al-Hayat on Tuesday quoted a senior Hamas official as saying that United States President-elect Barack Obama's advisors met with members of the Palestinian militant group before the U.S. presidential election.
Al-Hayat reported that Yusuf also said the relations were maintained after Obama's electoral victory last Tuesday. He said the president-elect's advisors requested that the relations be kept secret so as not to aid his rival, Senator John McCain.
Obama said that he would meet with terrorists, but, at least, I thought he would wait until he was in office and take our side.
It makes one wonder more what the LA Times is hiding in the video tape of Obama at a party for his friend and former Yasser Arafat spokesman Rashid Khalidi.
1
In 2000 the majority of the large US Islamic organisations including ISNA, to thier everlasting shame, endorsed and supported Bush. What do you make of that? That Bush was pro Hamas? That he was a supporter of Islamic terrorism. Let me remind you that muslims are citizens of the US as well and that like nay group of dieverse people, can be motivated by a whole web of interest. My own opinon is that such a high muslim support of Obama had little to do with his position on Israel/Palestine, as they differ little from McCains, but more to do with the way in which Obama's middle name was used agianst him as if the false impression of him being a muslim was a smear. This immediately and obviously offended many in ther muslim communittyand they went for Obama. Their is also the issue of eroding civil liberties and targetting of Arab and south asain under the last repub adminstration. Finally much of the overtly narrow religious right wing of the Repub, those who divide Americans into "real" and not so real camp, the group Palin was picked to shore up, end up aleinating a good deal of moderates, jews as well as muslims for obvious reasons. And like much of trhe country muslims were fed up with Bush. That all of this goes over your head doesn't surprise me too much.
Posted by: Ahmed at Wednesday, November 12 2008 12:42 PM (1aaEU)
Ahmed, your endorsement examples seem a little fishy, but the biggest endorsement, that from bin Laden, went to John Kerry.
I don't remember McCain once using or supporting the use of Obama's middle name to smear him. Maybe you can enlighten us.
However, I do remember Obama getting ready to make a speech and his handlers, while he was right there, forced two Muslim girls to move so that they wouldn't be in the picture behind him. Why no offense to that?
Posted by: Woody at Wednesday, November 12 2008 01:15 PM (Eb/8J)
No but Obama's link to Islam was used by many supporters of McCain, which served, obviously, to alienate many in the muslim communitty. Evidence on this fact abounds, in fact see your friends Cao's obsessive and deranged blog for extensive Obama/Islam coverage. You're rigth when you say that Obama played into the McCarthyite and Isamophobic agenda being used against him by moving those two young women and making no appearacens at mosques and muslim communitty centers even as he was giving other relgious communities far different treatment. I has crticised him for this and written to the campaign. It's widely know that not only ISNA but most large Islamic organisations endorsed Bush in 2000, so im not sure about the "fishy" claim.

If I remember the reason ISNA and other organsation gave for their 2000 endorsement of the Bush ticket, a decision of grotesque stupidity, was that the Gore/Lieberman ticket was running to the right of Bush/Cheney on the issue of Israel, which was, incidentally true. Nonetheless, given the Bush/Cheney record particulalry on civil liberties, which negatively affected Arabs and Muslims in the US, it was a decision they lived down. I voted Nader that time and looking back would do the same today

Woody, it doesn't make what the Obama campaign did alright, as I've already critiqued them, but had the young woman in the hijab been allowed to stand in the backround of Obama's speech Im almost postive that people like you would have posted repulsive, idiotic posts outing the woman appearance as more "proof" that Obama is linked to a global Islamist agenda.

Just like the Democrats did in the 2004 Washington state governor's race, in 2008 the Democrats in Minnesota keep coming up with overlooked votes to help Al Franken who, only for the time being, is behind Republican incumbent Norm Coleman in the vote count for U.S. Senator.
Minnesota is becoming to 2008 politics what Florida was in 2000 or Washington State in 2004 -- a real mess. The outcome will determine whether Democrats get 58 members of the U.S. Senate, giving them an effective filibuster-proof vote on many issues.
When voters woke up on Wednesday morning after the election, Senator Norm Coleman led Al Franken by what seemed like a relatively comfortable 725 votes. By Wednesday night, that lead had shrunk to 477. By Thursday night, it was down to 336. By Friday, it was 239. Late Sunday night, the difference had gone down to just 221 -- a total change over 4 days of 504 votes.
Virtually all of Franken’s new votes came from just three out of 4130 precincts, and almost half the gain (246 votes) occurred in one precinct -- a heavily Democratic precinct....
The fix is in--not counting what ACORN has already done. Will the Republicans have the will to fight this if Franken steals the election? I doubt it.
When you think about it, Peggy Joseph must be sort of a piker... afterall, she only wished from Obama gas money and a mortage payment... J. Joplin (with a few minor corrections in red, below) had the better idea. Too bad Joplin wasn't around to see Santa Clause elected!

WASHINGTON—African-American man Barack Obama, 47, was given the least-desirable job in the entire country Tuesday when he was elected president of the United States of America. In his new high-stress, low-reward position, Obama will be charged with such tasks as completely overhauling the nation's broken-down economy, repairing the crumbling infrastructure, and generally having to please more than 300 million Americans and cater to their every whim on a daily basis. As part of his duties, the black man will have to spend four to eight years cleaning up the messes other people left behind. The job comes with such intense scrutiny and so certain a guarantee of failure that only one other person even bothered applying for it. Said scholar and activist Mark L. Denton, "It just goes to show you that, in this country, a black man still can't catch a break."

Ahmed, I have a number of thoughts, but, first, explain to me why you think it's funny that Joe the Plumber had temporary needs and accepted help offered by the government to everyone in his situation. Should he have turned it down or is it just funny that he was hurting?

The irony is that Joe the Plummer, who we're only talking about because of an idiotic instant celebrity culture we're caught in, whines about higher taxes waxes hyperbole about socialistic government programs but he himself when down and out relied on the very government support he purports to attack. I personally believe that we should look after one another, that we are our brothers keepers and that government has a role in fostering an environment which creates the conditions for dignity and fairness for all. I believe that Bill Clintons welfare reform was part and parcel of a larger attack on the social security of all Americans. The problem is that Joe the Plummer is so damn hypocritical about this. It's handouts for others, but okay for him. Hey, Ropes I've got some choice word for you in the other thread, do check them out.
Posted by: Ahmed at Friday, November 07 2008 11:52 PM (vPj5M)
Ahmed: ...(Joe) himself when down and out relied on the very government support he purports to attack. ...The problem is that Joe the Plummer is so damn hypocritical about this. It's handouts for others, but okay for him.
Ahmed, you have completely misunderstood Joe's past and position. But, first, it's extremely pathetic that you would attack a private citizen, who some extremist have even demanded his death. For what? Please explain the left's preoccupation and hatred for this man. Is that an example of your compassion and desire for dignity and fairness? You laugh at his past difficulties.
Joe benefited for a temporary period from a government program for which he had been paying for others but never demanded for himself--but decided to accept since it was offered. I don't like a lot of government programs and their taxes, but, once in place, I'll use them just as everyone else does. I might as well get something for my money that everyone else is taking...as did Joe. The welfare that Joe obtained is supposed to be a bridge between jobs and that is how he used it--not as a permanent handout as many believe.
Joe, unlike lazy liberals, has a dream. He wants to own a business, be successful, and earn money for his family without the government taking it and giving it away to others who didn't lift a finger for it and have no defined needs.
Joe saw through Obama's promises, and Obama confirmed his suspicions with the "share the wealth" statement. Joe is wary of "sharing the wealth."
Obama's plan is wealth redistribution, pure and simple, where he takes from some taxpayers to give to people who don't have special needs; i.e., a vote buying scheme from people with no principles or shame. Obama will write checks to people who have jobs but don't pay taxes.
So, tell me what Joe did wrong to incur your laughter at his past indignities, which should be private. Tell me what was wrong with his question, because, if a private citizen can't ask a question of Obama without nationwide attacks from the left, then Obama's revolution is not one of democracy. That's what I suspect.
Posted by: Woody at Saturday, November 08 2008 06:28 PM (Eb/8J)
For what it's worth, I don't hate Joe and wish him no harm. On the other hand, I don't take him seriously and find his new found fame to be a representation of a kind of noxious celebrity culture best representing by reality tv. The fact that the McCain/Palin elevated him to the point where he campaigned with them, is, IMHO, simply testimony to the hallowness of the repub ticket.

I've heard rumoyrs that Joe the Plummer is planning to write a book. Regardless, he has already appeared in a number of TV chat sessions and was wisked around political rallies as a prop by McCain and Palin. Hardly the activities of a private citizen. If anything your beef is with the McCain ticket who elevated this man into somne kind of rugged every day person, in a desperate attempt to go after Obama. I've already critiqued the create a celebrity culture, of which creates the condiotions whereby Joe the Plummer becomes needlessly famous.
Posted by: Ahmed at Monday, November 10 2008 04:38 PM (WC2M6)
Ahmed, Joe the Plumber was private until the press sent hordes of investigators to look into him and Obama backers used the State computers to dig up whatever dirt they could find. Once "exposed," why shouldn't he have helped McCain at that point?
ou forget that Joe did nothing and that it was Obama who made the error and that it was the left that hated and attacked Joe for no good reason--just like you do.
